Battlefield 3 rocket launchers

Battlefield 3 will feature two standard rocket launchers as starter weapons for both faction, with several more unlockable. So far, the confirmed rocket launchers are:
RPG-7

The SMAW, or Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon, is a mainly intended as an assault weapon designed to destroy enemy targets and cover. It can also be equipped with anti-vehicle rockets. The SMAW makes its first appearance in the Battlefield series with Battlefield 3.
AT4

The Swedish-made AT4, first introduced in the early 1980s, and is today one of the most widely used light anti tank rocket launchers in the world. It’s used by the US Army as its main rocket launcher/anti tank weapon, and has been used in Panama, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Over 500,000 units have been produced to date. The AT4 appeared in Battlefield 2 and Bad Company 2, and is set to return in Battlefield 3.
Javelin

The FGM-148 Javelin is a US-made portable anti tank missile launcher that’s been in use since 1996. The Javelin doesn’t require direct line of sight — a lock on the target is enough and the missile is usually fired directly into the air and guides itself towards the target. The Javelin will make its first appearance in Battlefield 3.
FIM-92 Stinger

FIM-92 Stinger is a portable anti-air missile launcher that was developed in 1970s, and entered service in 1981. The Stinger has been used in a variety of conflicts and is still in use today across the world.
SA-18 IGLA

The SA-18 IGLA is the Russian counterpart to the Stinger missile, and operates in a similar way. It entered service in 1983 and is today deployed across many nations.
